Art quarter in Berlin

The Greenhouse Berlin is a former job center and now art quarter in the industrial area between Britz and Tempelhof. The place for international artists with quick turnover and an exhibition room which had its peak between 2014 and 2016. The club “Bonobo” on the ground floor, in which concerts and parties took place, was closed 2016.

Artists could apply for work spaces to rent or exhibition spaces to present works.

The house is managed by Israeli artist and curator Noam Braslavsky, who acknowledged in an interview (source below) that in the beginning he was too good-natured which lead to chaotic circumstances. The wild and anarchic times have past and the Greenhouse is on the way to become a orderly project.
